Single Mid/High (Thoracic) Curve
The following are examples of the effects of The LA 3D Brace on Single Mid/High Thoracic Curves:
Patient 1: Chloe had a 53 degree Thoracic curve that was considered too big to brace and surgery was her only option. While a regular brace would not have helped her, her LA 3D Brace corrected her curve completely and now out of brace she only has a 21 degree curve. She has been able to avoid surgery.
Patient 2: DJ was a 14 y/o boy with a 44 degree curve. In his LA Brace his curve was reduced to 9 degrees.
Patient 3: Missy is a 14 y/o girl with a 14 degree curve. Her curve reduced to 14 degrees in her LA 3D Brace.
Patient 4: Alice had a 32-degree scoliosis. With her LA 3D brace, her 32-degree curve is over-corrected to -14 degrees.
Patient 5: Eden has been wearing his LA 3D brace for 1 year. His original 37 degree curve was 15 degrees while in his brace and is now 21 degrees out of brace. A 59% in-brace correction and a 16 degree overall improvement.
Patient 6: Valerie was a 10 y/o girl with 36 degree Thoracic curve. Her curve reduced to 0 degrees in her LA Brace. After wearing her brace for 2 years her out of brace x-ray shows she only has a 7 degree curve remaining.
Patient 7: Julie started with a 42 degree Thoracic curve and 95% probability of progressing to surgery. In her intial in- brace xray we got her down to 18 degrees. Now after 18 months in her LA 3D brace she is down to 11 degrees and ready to start weaning from her brace. Her chance of needing surgery is now 0%.
Patient 8: Norah is a 4 year old girl with a 35 degree Thoracic curve that has reduced to 5 degrees in her LA 3D Brace. She has been wearing her brace for a little over two months now and continues to do amazing in her 3D brace.
Patient 9: Talia had a 29 degree thoracic scoliosis curve that had over-corrected to -10 degrees and has since corrected to a 9 degree curve. With a very flexible curve it is possible to over-correct the spine in the LA 3D brace. If she continues to wear her brace full-time she may never have to worry about her curve progressing in adulthood or needing spinal surgery in the future.
Patient 10: Jaden had a 30 degree high Thoracic curve and 40 degree mid Thoracic curve. In his LA 3D Brace, Jaden has corrected to 27 HT curve and 5 MT curve. He has been able to avoid surgery and is finished bracing.
